Return and Refund Policy

We value your business and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with a product, please review the following terms and conditions regarding returns, refunds and order cancellations.

2. Your Order Cancellation Rights

You may cancel an eligible order within seven (7) days without providing a reason, subject to the terms of this policy and applicable consumer protection legislation.

The seven-day cancellation period begins on the date you receive the goods, or when a third party appointed by you, other than the carrier, takes possession of the delivered products.

To request cancellation, please notify Rainbow Irrigation of your decision by submitting a clear written statement.

Where a refund is approved, we will reimburse you within fourteen (14) days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return under our standard return policy, the following conditions must be met:

• The goods must have been purchased within the previous seven (7) days.
• The goods must be returned in their original packaging.
• Proof of purchase must be provided where reasonably required.

3.1 Goods That Cannot Be Returned

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, the following categories of goods may be excluded from returns:

• Products manufactured, ordered or customised according to your specific requirements.
• Products that deteriorate rapidly, are perishable or have passed their expiry date.
• Products unsuitable for return due to health or hygiene considerations where protective packaging has been opened.
• Products that have become inseparably combined with other goods after delivery.

Rainbow Irrigation reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet the conditions of this policy, where permitted by law.

3.2 Sale and Discounted Products

Refunds for products purchased at promotional or discounted prices may be subject to the conditions of the relevant promotion. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights provided under applicable consumer protection legislation.

4. Returning Goods

If you need to return an item, please contact Rainbow Irrigation before sending the goods back to arrange the return process.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customers are responsible for the cost and risk associated with returning goods.

We recommend using a reliable courier or postal service that provides tracking and appropriate insurance for returned goods.

Rainbow Irrigation cannot accept responsibility for goods that are lost or damaged during return transit where that risk lawfully rests with the customer.

Refunds may be subject to confirmation that the returned goods have been received and assessed in accordance with this policy.

5. Refund Processing

Once returned goods have been received, Rainbow Irrigation will assess the return in accordance with the conditions outlined in this policy and applicable law.

Where a refund is approved, payment will generally be returned using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

If additional information is required to process your return or refund, our team will contact you using the details provided with your order.

6. Gifts

If goods were purchased and identified as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, an approved return may be processed as store credit or a gift voucher, where permitted by law and agreed with the relevant customer.

If the goods were not identified as a gift when purchased, or were delivered to the purchaser before being given to the recipient, the refund will generally be processed to the original purchaser using the original payment method.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable South African legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, where applicable.

If goods are defective, unsafe or do not meet applicable quality standards, customers may have additional statutory rights that apply independently of our standard return conditions.

Where a legal requirement conflicts with a provision of this policy, the applicable legal requirement will take precedence.
